I need YOU to help me spread the word. Right now, THIS is where we are getting our water:
WHAT is a borehole? It's a well that is drilled down
to the clean, fresh water and its water is never-ending.
Here's a video of me using one for the first time in
a village close to Mukono.
I can't imagine a Christian, a child of God, not feeling a tug in their heart to help us get clean water into this village.

Christie, this is so exciting! I really hope together we can spread the news to many people in need of missionary airfare for their flights so that I can continue to support this work you are doing. Keep trusting in the Lord's provision for you. It may be exceedingly beyond anything you have even asked for here. God bless! ~Tabitha www.cheapmissionstrips.com
ReplyDeleteMay be you should have did your research and you would have known that its the dry season in Africa right now and you will get rain in March, just have to wait til then or just pray for rain. Some of these things on you list are questionable at best. You do not need a van actually when there is just one of you, looks like your just using that to get a car. You do not need power but I will give you water, everybody needs a little water. Teachers need to be able to afford there own way to school, you do not need to help them. What is a refuge unit? The school does not need a kitchen, you live in Africa, get a job if you want to fix up your house. Do not ask for money for that or soccer team.
ReplyDeleteI wonder where Anonymous lives... and why does it matter if you live in Africa? Schools in America have kitchens and vans and power and we would be shocked if they were taken away. I guess if you live in Africa, your children shouldn't have the experience of "fun", either. This is the big problem of the world. You should probably be grateful to Anonymous for demonstrating it so clearly. I posted a link to your blog on my Facebook... not sure that actually helps, but maybe someone will see it and be moved to help. You are doing wonderful things in your little village.
ReplyDeleteThank you Christie for stepping out to do a job that at this time I only dream of doing. Thank you for giving your life over to Christ and hitting the ground running opening doors of empowerment for a nation of hurting people. Too many Christians want to preach hell and damnation scare the people to repentance and walk away and leave these precious people to die of things people should not die from. Then they wonder why other religions and mens hearts rule. To be the hands and feet of Jesus unto the least of these is pure religion. It is the heart of The Father. To give bread to the hungry, bring healing hands to the sick, Love to the unloved, clothe the naked. This is what we are all called to do. To go and teach them how to care for themselves and to care for others. I did not know how to Love until He 1st Loved me. So Thank you for taking the job of being the hands and feet of Jesus in a place I can not go at this time. Thank you leaving all you know all your comfort, and all you loved. Our Father owns all the cattle on a 1000 hills and a place to live a kitchen etc.. is not too much for him, I think the children of Bugabo also need a baseball team! I look forward to partnering with you and My Father on many more projects of differing importance. If he took the time to know how many hairs are on my head he cares that the children have a soccer team! Stay broken for GOD! That is where you are your strongest!!!!! Much Love and always in prayer for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteAs my Dad says, "Some people have no love and compassion." :0(
ReplyDeletePraying for you!! :0)
the ignorance of ppl like anonymous, blow my mind!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous needs to find Jesus. Let us all pray for this person who has no understanding of why we are all here. HE came to earth, lived in an earthly body, and died for OUR sins. YES this poor person really needs our prayers.
ReplyDeleteChristie you are doing a wonderful job spreading GOD's love. And I have faith that your FAITH list will be met real soon. Much love to you all,
Jane
Yikes, if i had the guts to think and SAY those things, I would be anonymous too! Christie, I heard that song Outcast today, and I thought of you- "No matter what it costs I'll be an outcast!" Thanks for all you are doing for them, for us, and for Christ!
